seguendo il ragionamento che è un cavallo il soggetto che si esprime in prima persona, ho pensato ad un altro sinonimo di *ahner*: sudare.
Forse nel contesto ci potrebbe anche stare, ma il mio ragionamento potrebbe essere fuori pista (ho messo il livello minimo di affidibilità)
