L’équipement présente une grande souplesse de configuration réseau. Il est possible de fonctionner en mode «Bridge» ou «Transparent», avec l’ensemble des interfaces réseau au sein d’un pont avec une ou plusieurs adresses IP.
A l’inverse, il est possible d’affecter une ou plusieurs adresses IP par interface réseau, de manière à fonctionner complètement en **mode routé**.
Enfin, il est possible de combiner ces 2 fonctionnements pour obtenir le mode «Hybride», comprenant un ou plusieurs bridges et une ou plusieurs interfaces avec adressage propre et unique.
