tegen laag water beschermd bassin


Explanation:
een goede vertaling in het Nederlands heb ik nergens kunnen vinden, maar het is een bassin/haven dat door een lage dam van zee is afgesloten zodat de haven bij laag water niet droog valt. Komt veel voor in Bretagne waar het tijverschil erg groot is.

Bassin à flot maintenu par un mur submersible à un niveau moyen de 2.50 m.

Steven (Ballistic) gebruikt \'vloedkom. Dat is eigenlijk correct in zo verre dat een vloedkom een natuurlijk verschijnsel is. Je zou misschien een \'kunstmatige vloedkom\' kunnen gebruiken.
