De versterking 'voire' (ja zelfs) vertalen als ging het slechts om een mogelijk ('soms' voorkomend, 'zelfs' wel optredend) of alternatief ('danwel') kenmerk, lijkt het beestje geen recht te doen.

De rugvin van de carassius auratus wordt hier namelijk niet alleen als zeer hoog, maar tevens (ja zelfs, en zelfs) als zo hoog omschreven dat haar top afhangt.
