If we take apart the comprising parts of the word, we can see that the first part, i.e Jame Jam or jamejam is consisted of three parts: Jam (the letter «a» is pronounced as a in car) + e + Jam (pronounced as the English word jam). The first JAm means cup, e means of, and the second Jam refers to Jamshid (one of Iranian kinigs). The word Jamejam is also referred to as Jame jahan nama, Jame giti nama, Jame jahan bin, Jame Keykhosrow (also one of Iranian kings). As you can see the second Jam is an abbreviated form of Jamshid, (so Jame Jamshid). The word Jamejam as a whole was used in the past by poets and writers to refer to a cup full of wine or pure wine. It was a especial kind of cup which reflected the whole world (including stars), It was a means of prophesy Just like AYINE ESKANDAR (meaning Ekandar's or Alexander's mirror, which was a huge mirror showing ships nearing the coast from a large distance).
