English term or phrase: turuzotu (?)
Hi,

My Persian dictionary gives this as a rare word for the plant "wisteria"/"wistaria" and says that it is of Turkish origin.

Of course, my Anglicisation is only a guess as the Arabic alphabet is inadequate when it comes to representing the sounds of Turkish.

It may also mean another plant.

Best

agree  Balaban Cerit: I am not an expert in this field, but "türüzotu" = "hanımeli". However, the Latin name seems to be "Lonicera caprifolium". The japonica seems to be related but different: www.filomu.com/album/thumbnails.php?album=5&page=19
