I'm translating a manual for a coloured lamp that is "7-coloured gradient" and brightness and speed adjustable.
I think it has to do with the deepness of the colours. But I don't know if I can translate it with "7 färggradienter". Is that a correct translation?

disagree  Stefan Björnson: "7 colored gradient"??? A gradient cannot be "colored". Besides, there should be a hyphen, like in source.

  -> u may disagree but in which case you~ll be disagreeing with the site itself which is mentioned in my r4emarks and it is an original Swedish site.

In normal usage, the gradient itself is made up of multiple colors, so it would be something like "gradient med 7 färger" (definitely not "7 färggradienter", since a gradient by definition always contains at least two colors). Color deepness (saturation) would usually be "färgmättnad". You'll probably need to know the exact meaning here to be able to translate it.
