solo mining enskild utvinning Explanation: As the Swedish term "solo" is often a part of a compound noun, it should theoretically lead to "soloutvinning" which however looks and sounds strange. As "solo" is also a person who lives alone, a single, the subject and object might be misunderstood and the term seen as "mining of a solo", whatever that might be (not "mining carried out by a solo"). Furthermore, "solo" is often used within sports and music, as you pointed out. Better is to use the adjective "enskild" which gives us the term "enskild utvinning". |
