I tried to translate it into "...en su forma a posteriori de aumento en la demanda de servicios médicos..."

Hay que traducir una locución latina cuando no se usa en la lengua de llegada, por ejemplo res judicata > cosa juzgada.

En el caso de ex post, sí, se usa en el español jurídico (ex post facto), pero creo que es mucho más común a posteriori.
