Dubina prodora predstavlja granicu na kojoj su korisni signal i signal ometanja jednaki. To je praktično kosa daljina do cilja (ili ometača ako je u pitanju samozaštitno ometanje) na kojoj radar može da otkrije i prati cilj uprkos prisutnom ometanju.
