Rather than pursuing this single use gray infrastructure that would have created high disturbance, the team working on the project instead assessed traffic demand, and shifted the area to be more pedestrian friendly using green infrastructure to handle the drainage goals.

Though a multi-block street development rather than one dedicated plaza, I still considered William Whyte’s criteria Overall, Bagby Street provides an excellent pedestrian experience. Benches are included on every block, as well as wide ledges that allow for seating around trees.
