A kérdés csak annyi lenne, hogy valaki találkozott-e már valamilyen magyar nyelvű dokumentumban a kifejezés magyar megfelelőjével. Az EU dokumentumainak fogalommeghatározásai között sajnos nem szerepel.

“Screen Failures” means - A patient who entered into the Trial at the first visit and received the study drug, but who failed to meet all of the randomization criteria and is withdrawn from the Trial either between the first and second visit or at the second visit.

“Pre-Screen Failures” means - A patient who failed to meet all the inclusion criteria, who did not receive any study drug, and is withdrawn from the Trial at the first visit or upon receipt of the biological results of the first visit when applicable.

Mivel nagyon sok gyógyszerkísérleti anyagot (ICTI) fordítok, ezt már korábban megadták a Bristol-Myers-Squibb szakemberei, egyetértésben az Amgen és ICTI szakemberekkel, akik az OGYI-tól kapták a magyar meghatározást, már megerősítették.
Nincs értelme erőltetni, hogy főnévvel fordítsuk. A kategóriákat a fentieknek megfelelően neveztük el. Semmi köze az EU-anyagokhoz.
