Fairtrade, ezek viszont használják a jelüket erre a célra, és jóval nagyobb, jobban ismert szervezet az előzőnél. http://www.fairtrade.org.uk/ http://www.fairtrade.org.uk/about_what_is_fairtrade.htm The FAIRTRADE Mark The Foundation’s "seal of approval" which appears on products meeting Fairtrade standards. For a product to display the FAIRTRADE Mark it must meet international Fairtrade standards. These standards are set by the international certification body Fairtrade Labelling Organisations International (FLO). What’s the difference between Fairtrade and ethical trade? The Ethical Trading Initiative is an alliance of companies, development agencies (and other NGOs) and trade unions, supported by the UK Government. It is a process which will help companies take more responsibility for the conditions of their third world employees. The Fairtrade Foundation believes that at the very minimum all companies should ensure suppliers have safe and decent working conditions, have effective mechanisms in place to identify problems with suppliers and, when necessary, be prepared to address them promptly and adequately. The FAIRTRADE Mark goes beyond this. It addresses the injustice of low and decreasing prices of third world commodities. It involves producers in a partnership approach to improving their position and thus enabling them to take more control over their own lives. The consumer label appears on individual products as a guarantee that producers receive fair terms of trade and fair prices. |
