A szótárak szerint a benefit of discussion a kezes joga arra, hogy a hitelezőt arra kötelezze, hogy előbb az adóstól próbálja behajtani a tartozást, utána forduljon csak a kezeshez. De ez ide nem nagyon passzol...

neutral  Ildiko Santana: A "discussion" szerintem inkább vita, érvelés, nem "ellenvetés" - utóbbi már kicsit erősebb. Definíció a jogi szótárakban: "Discussion: The act of discussing or exchanging reasons; examination by argument; debate; disputation; agitation."

agree  Julia Prazsmary: nekem is ez tűnik szebbnek, ha nem is szószerinti. Szerintem a vita és ellenvetés ebben a kontextusban eléggé közelítenek ahhoz, hogy ez a mondatrész így is helyesen legyen értelmezve.
