Explanation:
you ask a specific case of connection, which is more than a simple connector - I guess, you ask the commonly named PC-Card, which is necessary to this function, and really has also a connector on the outside (the correct type depends on your mobile (cellphone?))

neutral  esaxon33: it might not be not be a PC-card, as (I suppose) GPRS connection is made through a serial or USB port, where the phone is "behaving" like an external modem.

  -> you got this "external modem" to connect somehow to your comp.. too, and this device is commonly named as PC-card (though it is something different - PC card was originally the 3com LAN card for laptops and notebooks)
