szervizszolgáltatás / karbantartási szolgáltatás Explanation: Attól, hogy a termék egy alapanyag (alumínium) az nem az jelenti, hogy nincs szükség szervizre/karbantartásra. A materials managenement pont ideillik, mert a cég logisztikai része: pl. selejt áruk cseréje rendelése, leszállítása. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Materials_management "Materials management From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Jump to: navigation, search Materials management is the branch of logistics that deals with the tangible components of a supply chain. Specifically, this covers the acquisition of spare parts and replacements, quality control of purchasing and ordering such parts, and the standards involved in ordering, shipping, and warehousing the said parts." http://www.waterstonegroup.com/Media/MediaManager/Maintenanc... "From our experience working with technology company executives, the maintenance business does not always garner the requisite attention or priority in decision making and resource allocation. On the revenue side, attachment and renewal rates are not managed to best-in-class benchmarks. On the cost side, with relatively high margins, maintenance delivery is not necessarily an obvious target for efficiency initiatives, especially if they require upfront capital investment. At the same time, customer and competitive trends exert increasing pressure on the traditional maintenance business. Facing their own cost reduction directives and on-demand consumption models (SaaS), customers increasingly view provider-delivered maintenance as an avoidable tax that can be minimized. Fast growing, 3rd party vendors, such as Rimini Street, netCustomer or Versytec are stepping in and promising savings of up to 50% on maintenance of popular application packages from Oracle or SAP. 2 To stay ahead of this perfect storm, we suggest technology providers focus attention and resources on automating maintenance delivery, also referred to as Remote Product Services (RPS), to drive cost efficiencies and support long-term relationships with customers. Remote Product Services includes a variety of capabilities that enable service delivery efficiencies and preventive maintenance while eliminating manual tasks and truck rolls. They also provide the foundation for analytics-based smart services (e.g., predictive diagnostics, pay-per-use models, etc.). In a recent global survey of service professionals at 170 technology enterprises, Aberdeen Research found that reducing service-related cost is a priority for half of all firms with the primary focus on improving diagnosis for better first-time fix rates, reducing unplanned service visits and the number of total dispatches. While over 60% of responding firms had some form of remote product service deployed, they covered less than a third of their assets. To achieve the desired cost savings, the survey respondents plan to expand RPS capabilities to double the percentage of covered assets to 60%." |
