English term or phrase: cone fish
jellyfish and cone fish

**Cone fish** are dangerous too, in their own unique way: they are armed with a guided missile system of venomous darts. These darts are used to subdue their victims. Cones tend to be found on the northern coasts where the water is warmer, although occasionally they crop up as far south as Sydney, in colder sea.

-> If you had bothered to google yourself you would have found that the habitat of the pine cone fish is mesoelagic - depths from 200-1000 meters. Hardly a place where man normally goes!
