in the USA you usually need a Closing Agent to close on a real estate deal. I simply cannot think of an acceptable German equivalent. "Abschlussagent" does not sound right. Any help? TIA

Dietl/Lorenz sagt bei closing real estate: Zeitpunkt der Übereignung von Grundbesitz, ein Agent wäre hier z.B. der Bevollmächtigte des Maklers. Auch in Deutschland ist es so, dass US-Maklerfirmen alles für die Übertragung vorbereiten, und ein Notar liest dann nur nochmals den Vertrag vor und setzt seinen Joe Doe drunter.
