"If you take a closer look at this photo, you will see there is some slight lens distortion and the vertical building on the right, well it isn’t all that vertical. There’s a new feature in Photoshop Elements 5 called ***correct camera distortion***. This dialogue lets me adjust just a couple of setting here to remove that distortion and make the photo look overall much better than it did."

  -> Danke! Eben wegen "camera", also "Verzerrung durch Linse" habe ich nicht das neutralere 'entzerren' gewählt. Es gibt ja auch noch weitere Ursachen für Bildverzerrung

Explanation:
Für "Verzerrungen korrigieren" gibt es auch den Begriff "entzerren".

Ursachen für verzerrte Abbildungen in der Fotografie können neben dem Objektiv auch in Position und Bauart des Fotoapparats liegen. Je nachdem, ob die beschriebene Funktion auch solche Verzerrungen korrigieren kann, könnten also auch die oben vorgeschlagenen allgemeineren Begriffe brauchbar sein.

Da aber ausdrücklich von "lens distortion" die Rede ist, ist Avantix' Vorschlag auch prima.
