Explanation:
I've seen "offshore" used as an adverb and adjective in German texts, but if that seems suspect to you (i.e. Americanized), I would suggest a slight reshuffle, like this : "The group is the largest provider of logistics and other support services to the offshore exploration and production activities in Chinese waters, where such projects are effectively dominated by its parent company CNOOC."
In fact, you can scratch "activities" and just say : "services for offshore exploration and production in Chinese waters, where ..."
