Ich glaube, dass deutsche E-Gitarren-Freaks diese Begriffe auf Englisch lassen. Höchstens den trem arm mit Tremolo-Hebel übersetzen.

Tremoloarm, Wimmerhaken (slang)


Explanation:
Wimmerhaken for whammy bar, und trem arm (= Tremoloarm) ist, glaube ich, das Gleiche. Wimmerhaken wäre eine etwas ironisch/spöttische deutsche Übersetzung, die den exessiven Einsatz (kitschig) dieses Gitarreneffekts bezeichnet. In den siebziger Jahren war z.B. "Ricky King" ein bekannter deutscher "Wimmerhaken-Hero"... "Wimmerhaken" ist also nur für diesen Kontext gültig. Sachlicher heißt es wahrscheinlich Tremoloarm.
