Danke. Nachdem das der einzige Zusammenhang war, habe ich nachgefragt und o.g. Erläuterung erhalten "Seems to be rather generic, it appears that he sings a lot in the outside yard". Also im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes so allgemein wie möglich ... Möchte mich auch bei allen anderen bedanken, die sich wirklich bemüht haben, zwischen den Zeilen zu lesen! Herzlichen Dank nochmals.

Explanation:
Es geht hier um einen ehemaligen Football-Spieler und beim Football ist das Feld in yards aufgeteilt.. Bei Footballgames größerer Bedeutung z.B. wird von einem der Spieler die Hymne oder ähnliches vor dem Spiel gesungen.
Also glaub ich nicht dass es hier um Lieder trällern geht..
als Übersetzung vielleicht - der auch als Vorsinger bekannt ist..
