Es geht bei dem Textausschnitt um Verstärker für Sänger/ Musiker.
For duos or even bigger ensembles, it's still possible to use a Crate Limo by getting a cheap mixing device to split the signal. Or you can go the route of powering a mixing board and speakers using a deep cycle battery and an INVERTER. If you get a cheap inverter, it'll blow at high volume, but for a solo that doesn't require a whole lot of power, a relatively inexpensive inverter and boat battery will work fine.
Ich würde das als Stromrichter übersetzen, wäre aber für weitere Meinungen dankbar.
