Chugging-Riff Explanation: Chugging ist ein Begriff aus dem Heavy Metal Gitarrenspiel. Now, I don't look like a headbanger, do I, but back in the olden days... anyway, as a guitarist who used to dream of having her own punk band (a long long time ago!), I would say that the term chugging is quite common among German-speaking guitarists as well. Man spricht unter den Metallern aber gern von Riffs, deshalb würde ich, um dem üblichen Slang gerecht zu werden, von einem Chugging-Riff sprechen: also für thickes chugging ever - das krasseste/geilste Chugging-Riff überhaupt o.Ä.. Unter untenstehendem Link kannst Du Dir ein Hörbeispiel von chugging anhören, und die Spieltechnik ist genau beschrieben.
