IGMP snooping with Configurable Router Registration Forwarding - Protocols. In vielen der deutschen technischen Anleitungen habe ich bereits das Wort "Snoop - palette snoop und snooping" bereits mehrfach gefunden.Kann man irgendwie die Lage verbessern. Im Buch steht aber Schnüffeln oder herumspionieren, ist aber sehr weit hergeholt.

Diese Applikationen nutzen Multicast-Pakete, um gleichzeitig eine Gruppe von Stationen zu adressieren und nicht jedes Paket an jede einzelne Station zu verschicken. IGMP Snooping verhindert, dass diese Multicast-Pakete durch das gesamte geswitchte Netzwerk geflutet werden."

Soll es ureigentlich nicht "(Be-)schnuppern" sein?
