Es geht um einen Prozessablauf, durch den Berichte zum Konfigurationsmanagement generiert werden sollen. Die Beschreibung eines Teilschritts lautet wie folgt:

If it is time to generate a report and the report is an ad hoc one, it must first be developed and tested for accuracy, resource consumption etc.
If it is not time to generate a report, then *hold* the report requirements to run as per the report schedule.

Wie ist "hold" hier zu verstehen und was sagt der letzte Teilsatz demnach aus?
