Es geht also um Hitzeprobleme in Rechenzentren, aber ich weiß nicht genau, wie ich "thermal modeling" übersetzen soll. Der gesamte Titel lautet "Leveraging real-time thermal modeling to help address heat-related issues in data centers".
Spricht man von "Thermomodellierung"?

agree  Irene Schlotter, Dipl.-Übers.: Genau! Ulrike, ein Tipp: du solltest möglichst auf das Wort 'Hitze' verzichten und generell 'Wärme' verwenden (übermäßige Wärmeentwicklung, Wämesenke etc.). Das ist der neutrale Ausdruck; Hitze ist eine relative Wertung.
