Es handelt sich um eine "Mitarbeiter-Verwaltungssoftware" für Unternehmen, dort gibt es Elemente für Urlaub, Gehaltszahlung usw. Der Begriff accrual/accumulator tritt mehrere Male darin auf:

Was genau bedeutet denn dieses accrual/accumulator?

accruals sind idR Rückstellungen für angefallene Aufwendungen, die jedoch noch nicht das Ergebnis beastet haben (zB nicht genommene Urlaubstage, unterlassene Instandhaltung, noch nicht abgerechnete Telefonate usw.
Bei den accumulators tippe ich auf Sammelkonten zB Anzahl der Urlaubstage (nicht Wert der Urlaubstage - der steckt in den accruals)
