Finde ich ja bezeichnend, dass "engagement" sowohl Kampf/Gefecht, wie auch "Verlobung" bedeutet. ;-)

neutral  Francis Lee (X): "engaged" kann man ja auch mit "besetzt" übersetzen (telefonisch sowie WC-technisch); hier deutet m.E. nichts auf eine Verlobung, dafür aber alles auf einen militärischen Zusammenhang
