Aus einem Patent zu einem Vektorexpressionssystem:

"Hematopoietic stem cells, lymphocytes, vascular endothelial cells, respiratory epithelial cells, keratinocytes, *skeletal and muscle cardiac cells*, neurons and cancer cells are among proposed targets for therapeutic gene transfer, either ex vivo or in vivo."

Dieser Ausdruck gibt mir Rätsel auf, eine Erklärung fehlt im Text und er kommt auch nur dieses eine Mal vor. Die "cardiac cells" verstehe ich ja noch, weiß aber nicht, wie ich die mit "skeletal" und "muscle" (eventuell "muscular"?) zusammenbringen soll. Googeln nach dem gesamten Ausdruck ergibt nur einen Hit: eben dieses Patent.

agree  MMUlr: im Original sollte es "cardiac muscle cells" heißen: http://www.scholar.google.com/scholar?hl=en&lr=&ie=ISO-8859-... - "muscle cardiac ..." erscheint nur z.B. als "non-muscle cardiac ..."
