So nannte man den Bereich den hinteren Teil eines Restaurants früher einmal (Ex Adlon Personal). Allerdings umfasst der englische Begriff den gesamten Produktions-und Servicebereich.

Although this term is more commonly associated with theatres, a bit of googling reveals that it is also widely used of restaurants, and is probably the standard term.

Another term I have come across is "restaurant support areas", but after looking at Google I think I would favour back of house.
