Ich arbeite an den Geschäftsbedingungen eines Aktien-Optionsplans für Mitarbeiter eines Unternehmens.

Zu Beginn des Dokuments steht dieser Satz:
The conditions below apply in addition to any terms and conditions to be applied by the savings provider.

Hier dachte ich noch, dass „savings provider“ simpel und einfach das Sparinstitut ist (lt. Google müsste das auch stimmen).

Einige Absätze später stoße ich dann auf diesen Satz:
Any interest paid by the savings provider on a payment will be subject to the conditions of the savings carrier.

Aus einigen Sätzen vor und nach diesem Absatz scheint klar, dass mit „savings carrier“ (auch) das Sparinstitut gemeint ist.

Habe ich Schuppen vor den Augen oder stimmt da mit dem Original was nicht??

Seems that they mean the same thing, maybe the person responsible for this wanted to make the sentence more 'varied' by using two different terms.
Looking at the sentence makes it pretty clear, what bank would pay interest subject to someone elses conditions, other than their own?
