Oxidativer Burst Explanation: Da nach dem Fachausdruck gefragt wurde... Über 400 deutsche Hits für "oxidativer Burst", z.B. http://www.medizin.uni-greifswald.de/immun/meddiagn/leukfkt.... Eine Alternative wäre "Bildung reaktiver Sauerstoffspezies", was aber vielleicht nicht ganz so gut in den Zusammenhang passt.
