  -> auch als Kaffeetrinker plädiere ich für den Teelöffel, wird in Kochbüchern immer TL abgekürzt (EL für Esslöffel) KL habe ich noch nicht gesehen.

neutral  Peter Gennet: Offenbar kennen die gängigen Lexika keinen Unterschied zwischen den drei Bezeichnungen wie: http://www.gewuerzlexikon.de/kurkuma.html . WTB wie Langenscheidt kennen keinen dt. Ausdruck Tumeric sondern übersetzen Gelbwurz (bot.) und Kurkuma (pharmaz.)

  -> Sorry to revert to my native tongue, but I've been cooking with turmeric for years (learned it from Indians in UK) and it is not the same thing- the other two are poor substitutes- turmeric is hard to find in DE. Try some.
