This is how I know a 'port' from hydraulics and pneumatics. This site says:
"Über den Kompressoranschluss strömt Luft mit ca.
6 bar zur Messingdüse und erzeugt aufgrund der Ver-
engung einen Unterdruck von ca. 80 mbar. Dadurch
wird ein Volumen von 200 – 300 m angesaugt. Um
90 Grad versetzt zum Kompressoranschluss ist ein
Prüf- und Messstutzen ½ Zoll angebracht, welcher
nach der Messung mit einem Stopfen geschlossen
werden kann."

es ist viel Text bis man darauf stösst, aber da es sich um Klimanlage handelt, spricht man von Drucköffnung.
