Explanation:
So nannte man das früher.
Heute könnte man etwas freundlicher "redaktionelle Werbung" oder - noch freundlicher - "Empfehlungen der Redaktion" nennen. Den letzteren Ausdruck habe ich des öfteren schon erspäht.

Hier ist's also wie bei viel zu vielen Dingen in der Welt: Man gibt dem Kind einen anderen Namen - und schon klingt es gut und stellt die Leute zufrieden.
Früher sagte man ja auch "Angriffskrieg" statt "Präventivkrieg" und "Überfall" statt "Befreiung". :/
