Scout/CTAC Scans

The scout is scanned to localize the area that you need for scanning the cardiac series.
The CTAC series includes a CTAC which creates an attentuation map and allows a CT reconstruction with your site’s preference of filter (standard, soft).
It is very important that the patient is centered top to bottom in the **bore** (isocenter), if possible, to get the appropriate exposure using Auto mA or Smart mA.

bestemt af tre laserplaner: transversal-, sagittal- og coronal-laser, se billede 7.6 på næste side. Ved hjælp af de tre laserplaner laves ydre markeringer, med permanent tusch på patienten, der
markerer origo for de tre laserplaner i tumorområdet. Herved placeres isocentret centralt i target.
