neutral  Zeljko Puljak: postujem navedene izvore, ali nikako ne mogu da prihvatim taj termin.Izgleda da je posredi razlicito shvatanje znacenja rijeci tumac.Sudski tumac uredu, to je ustaljeno, ali interpreter je samo usmeni prevodilac,tako ja to shvatam, tako su me ucili.

  -> Hvala Željko. Hrvatski izvori češće koriste "prevoditelj-i" kada se radi o pismenom prevođenju ali tumač ostaje još uvijek, i na Hrvatskom, tumač (iz Njemačkog: Dolmetscher, preko (vjerovatno) Slovenačkog: Tolmač.
