Here, I would go for brevity and effect -- something that evokes the low prices. If the phrase occurs in a narrative about the U.S., it would make sense to use the word "dollar" in it, because the reader woudl expect it. For example: محل أبو دولار But if the text is generic, this would not work. If the purpose of the translation is to localize the concept, then a local currency may be worked in. For example: محل أبو ريال الخ |
