I would explain to the client that in Arabic, the possessive is part of the word it modifies (if they know Romanian, tell them it is like the definite article in Romanian). There is no way to have the name of the company in English with the possessive in Arabic. And the fact that the name of this unique and proprietary is a greater cause for Keeping it in English. There is no harm in giving it a free translation where the promotional message of the expression is emphasized. But wherever the expression is used as a name for a specific program, it is not a good idea to translate it. If they insist on translating it, then they will have to let something go. Translation is an art of wise compromises. If you insist on everything, you lose everything. In this sentence, the possessive is the one element that is crying out to go. |
