cutting numbers have been defined as that sequence of numbers produced
when a given shape is cut up into the maximum number of pieces
succession of 1, 2, 3, 4 ... cuts and without re-arranging the pieces
between cuts.
Examples: A line makes 2, 3, 4, 5 pieces after 1, 2, 3, 4 ... cuts.
A circle produces 2, 4, 7, 11 ... pieces after 1, 2, 3, 4 ... cuts.
