provident insurance تأمين الاحتياط Explanation: All insurance coverage of persons that may be included in a contract to protect individuals against various hazards likely to reach them. Provident insurance means "insurance against new perils that must be reported". I spoke with an insurance agent about this type of coverage and the language used with it. Vorsorgeversicherung essentially means that new perils (risks) might be introduced to the insured company that are not covered under the current insurance policy (e.g. a company accepts products from another company with which they previously only had a service relationship). If this risk, i.e. change of relationship from accepting services to accepting products, is not reported within a certain amount of time, they are not covered by insurance. However, in contrast with this, the "provident" aspect of this insurance clause means that the new perils are still covered even if they are not reported before the mandatory report date takes place. It's similar to a grace period. The new risks are not covered if they are not reported after the mandatory report date, but they are covered if they are reported by the mandatory report date. That is Vorsorgeversicherung. Reference: http://https://www.cna.dz/index.php/Documentation/Travaux-du... Reference: http://www.proz.com/kudoz/german_to_english/insurance/301128... |
