"Pitrain" ist wohl eine Schweineart. Was aber genau heißt "koppels" hier? Sind das einfach Gruppen?

Explanation:
Der Ausdruck Koppel bezeichnet :
1. mit einem Zaun versehenes Weideland;
2. eine Gruppe zusammengeleinter Tiere.

Ich würde hier den Begriff "Koppel" übernehmen. Pitrain ist tatsächlich eine Schweinerasse.

disagree  Henk Peelen: Heb sterke twijfels. Volgens mij geldt dat uitsluitend voor ingespannen dieren (meestal twee). Slachtvarkens worden bij mijn weten zelden ingespannen. Paarden zijn populairder daarvoor.
