favourite drink Explanation: The expression ´hofret´ is perhaps more common, but of course you can wash it down with a ´hofdrik´. Google for examples Comfort food, what Granny always used to serve, what you go for after a hard day's work... What you serve for unexpected guests or for a Saturday treat... Could all be examples of a hofret. The negative version - ´ikke min/hans/hendes hofret´ - can be used figuratively about an idea or something that has to be done, like it or not. ´Det er ikke hans hofret, men han finder sig i det.´ |
