bale out Explanation: If udpumpning is equal to the Danish lænse (empty something of liquid e.g. a boat) then the English term is bale out But whether this only applies to the manual action, and not a pump, I do not know. emptying the bilge tank Explanation: Bilge water is the term used for waste water for ships and boats. This is stored in a bilge tank. This is something that must be done as part of the general mainenance on ships and boats. I know this from my experiences of sailing and working in shipping companies. |

ballast pumping Explanation: US engelsk. Det er nemmest bare at bruge "pumping", så er der ingen tvilv om hvad det pumpes.
