Der er udtaget en stævning, og det er sådan set det eneste, der er sket i den sag, så lige præcis, hvad forløbet bliver der, og hvor store advokatomkostningerne bliver, det er også vanskeligt at sige noget om.

agree  Christine Andersen: 'Sådan set' is often just padding like 'about', 'more or less', AFAIK, and all those expressions that just stop a sentence from being too categorical, but add very little to the meaning.

that is

Explanation:
I suggest you omit "sådan set". It is an utterly superfluous filler. The phrase has exactly the same meaning in Danish whether "sådan set" is there or not. So why put some superfluous English filler word in the translation that only approximates the source anyway?

"A claim form has been issued, and that is all that has happened in the case ..."

By the way, none of you guys bothered to look it up? Gyldendals Røde proposes "in a way" -- as good a translation as any if you insist.
