agree  aha: Interesting! Seems that epicrisis is used in that sense in many European languages - but not in English.

  -> Dorland does give epicrisis in the same sense as the Danish, but it also appears as a 'secondary crisis', and 'epicritic' refers to nerves of touch and temperature, so the term is 'occupied' or associated with other meanings.
