Explanation:
Holy cow :-) Twice in one day...

I guess it is a way to deal statistically with creatures of the bovine persuasion. I have seen 'årsko' in Swedish, too.

Unfortunately, the only confirmation I can find is an English-language paper written by Danish and Norwegian scientists, yet published by Elsevier Science Ltd. So I think it must be reliable.
