Oplevelsesmæssige experience (in this context) / impression Explanation: I might translate the whole heading as 'The visual experience and aesthetics' Or 'The visual impression and aesthetics' - to work in the -mæssige part of the word. An impression might be a bit more airy than an experience. Is there more room for the viewer's imagination than specific experience? 'Oplevelse' is often difficult to translate from Danish into English - and I sometimes use 'perception' or rephrase it altogether. Danes often 'opleve' things that in English one would enjoy or try out, for instance. But here I think 'visual experience' would work. |
