Bus/Financial - Accounting / annual general meeting
Danish term or phrase: formand/dirigent
Both of these are given as 'chairman'. Could anyone tell me the difference between the two? Both are present at an annual general meeting. Is the 'formand' the chairman and the 'dirigent' the director?
If someone wouldn't mind explaining I'd be grateful!
TIA,
Helen

Explanation:
I would have liked some context, but the solution might be as indicated above i.e.:

dirigent = chairman of the meeting

formand = chairman (of something else, e.g. the board)

Good luck!

Explanation:
